The Fire
KIERAN was only cooking chips ....

Fire guts Plymouth flat and damages others
June 2010 - A fire has gutted a top-floor Plymouth flat and damaged at least six others in the same street.
The fire, thought to have been started in the kitchen of a flat in Meadfoot Terrace, quickly spread along the roof to other properties in the block.
Seventy firefighters tackled the blaze which started at about 1430 BST and took two hours to bring under control.
No-one was seriously injured in the fire.
'Slates popping'
Firefighters said the wind had helped spread the fire along the roof.
Group manager Paul Ray, incident commander, said: "Once the fire took hold it spread very quickly.
"It was so quick that the fire had already gone into next door when we arrived."
Justin Brookman, who lives next door, said: "We started hearing fireworks, like the slates popping and banging and then massive flames.
"In the space of five minutes you could not see anything in the whole street.
"I feel for the people who live there."
We will return ...... We have returned
As you can appreciate this was pretty devastating for Adelia. The whole of the Beauty Salon is totally gutted. No roof and pretty much everything destroyed.
Well I always knew we needed to clear out the Loft, and decorate our Flat below. But I wouldn't recommend Kieran's effort (Chip Pan Fire) as the ideal solution.
WE WILL RETURN, hopefully if the Architect does his job right, even better than before.
Well, we have returned. After 15 months in temporary accommodation it is great to say "We have returned". We now have a new Salon with 5 treatment rooms, 100% new kit and decoration. We have to thank the Insurance Companies involved, our Architect at Fixed Price Architecture, and our Construction Builder - Collards Construction Ltd of Plymouth and all the excellent local Guys they employed to do the work. Great job, and thanks.
ADELIA is very happy with the new Salon
We have been back in 14 Meadfoot Terrace since the beginning of October 2011. Adelia is generally delighted, and the comments from our Clients are equally encouraging.
You are welcome to come and see for yourself .................
Once again, many thanks to all who have rallied round.
