How to get to The Amber Health & Beauty Clinic
From Mutley Plain in Plymouth, go up Mannamead Road 100 metres to the top of the slight hill, take to the middle of the road, and turn right into Elm Road. Travel 70 metres and take the second right turn into Meadfoot Terrace. Travel 30 Metres down the slope, and by the large tree on your right is the entrance to The Amber Health, Beauty and Sports Injury Clinic. There is ample free parking in Meadfoot Terrace, but please park in the driveway before 10.00 am. Just phone, if there no space and we will come and help.
The Salon is down the steps, press the top bell, walk in and go up the two short flights of stairs, to the Top Floor.
Consulting Hours
Monday to Friday 09.30 am to 20.00 pm, and Saturday 10.00 am to 17.00 pm. We are NOT open on Sundays
General Conditions
- The Amber Health, Beauty and Sports Injury Clinic can become very busy, pre-booking well in advance is highly recommended, although we will always try our best to fit Clients in at short notice.
- Regretfully, late arrival may result in reduced treatment time.
- Amber H&B reserves the right to decline or to administer any treatment, especially those we don't think are in the Client's best interest.

Cancellation Policy
- We wish to act fairly to all our Clients in these difficult times.
- We would greatly appreciate your co-operation in giving a minimum of 24 hrs notice, should you need to cancel or re-arrange an appointment. Please help us to help you.
- Late cancellations are subject to a 50% charge for treatments pre-booked as AH&B has reserved that time slot especially for you.
- If you have to cancel and fail to notify AH&B, then the full cost of your treatment is due.
- Pre-booked courses of treatment, where there is a "missed appointment", this will, unfortunately, have to be deducted from the total treatment package.
Amber History
Adelia, the principal Therapist, started Amber Health & Beauty over ten years ago in Plymouth, having previously traded under different names. The development of The Amber Health, Beauty and Sports Injury Clinic is the natural progression as time dictates.
She has been practising since 1991, following her initial qualification as a Beauty Therapist and later qualification in Sports Injury Massage. Subsequently Adelia has attended many refresher courses, and is continually expanding her expertise through examination and practical training. She has gained an excellent reputation over the last 15 years; for professionalism and customer care. She is well recognised by her Clients as "Simply the Best".
Adelia is proud to have been a Member of BABTAC (British Association of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology) for nearly 20 years. All treatments are fully insured through BABTAC.
Many of our Clients are now considered personal friends. All seem very happy to recommend and promote the business. In fact well over 60% of our new Customers come from recommendation.
The Reception Area is simply covered in Certificates of Achievement - over 32 different training courses to date have been completed. Our "Client Visitors Book" is well worth a read. Later you may want to add your own comment.
Typical comments include:
- "Wow, your wife has magic hands"
- "Never felt better"
- "That was the best waxing to date"
- "Adelia's work on my wife has saved my Marriage"
